Carpe Diem..."Seize the Day" in Latin. I love that term...that, in and of itself, is very masculine. In addition to that, the fragrance is one of my most all time favorite fragrances for men.
I wanted to make this soap simple yet with some hidden things that would be good for the mens skin. As with all our soaps, luxious oils were not skimped on and include the usual and customary Avocado, Sweet Almond and Shea Butter oils. I don't think I've ever made a batch of body soap without adding my treasured Jersey cow heavy cream lol and I threw in a little Sourwood honey for good measure.
The hidden thing and the thing that got me excited in making this soap is that I used Activated Charcoal which colored the bulk of the soap this dark steel grey color. More importantly, Activated Charcoal has properties that draw impurities and toxins from the skin and hold them with its steel grip until it's all washed away when you rinse.
As is usual and customary for me, I just had to put a touch of pizzazz on top with a small, light swirl of 24k Gold mica.
